MiJOBmatch – Cancellation Policy

At MiJOBmatch, we value transparency and fairness for both job providers and job seekers. This
policy outlines the terms under which posted jobs, service requests, or skill listings may be
cancelled. By using our platform, you agree to abide by this policy.
1. Cancellation by Job Providers
- Job Providers may cancel a posted job or service request at any time before a candidate has
accepted the offer or been formally contracted.
- Once a candidate has accepted or been contracted, cancellation is only permitted for valid reasons
(e.g., change in project scope, budget constraints, or unforeseen circumstances).
- If cancellation occurs after work has commenced, any agreed compensation for work completed
must be paid to the job seeker in accordance with the original agreement.
2. Cancellation by Job Seekers
- Job Seekers may withdraw from a job application at any time before acceptance by the Job
Provider.
- Once accepted and contracted, cancellations must be communicated immediately to the Job
Provider, with a valid reason.
- Frequent cancellations without valid reasons may result in account review, suspension, or removal
from the platform.
3. Platform-Initiated Cancellations
MiJOBmatch reserves the right to cancel or remove any posting, profile, or agreement if:
- The job or service violates our Terms of Use or applicable laws of Zimbabwe.
- There is evidence of fraud, misrepresentation, or abusive conduct.
- The listing is deemed unsuitable or unsafe for platform users.
4. Refunds
- For paid listings or subscriptions, cancellations made within 48 hours of purchase and before the
listing goes live are eligible for a full refund.
- Refunds are not available for cancellations made after the listing is published, except in cases of
platform error or duplicate billing.
- Any refund will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
5. No-Show and Non-Performance
- Job Providers who fail to engage the selected Job Seeker after agreement, or Job Seekers who fail
to report for work without notice, may face account suspension or removal.
- Repeated no-shows will lead to permanent account termination.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from a cancellation:
- Both parties are encouraged to resolve the matter amicably.
- If no resolution is reached, MiJOBmatch may mediate, but final settlement is the responsibility of
the parties involved.
- MiJOBmatch does not guarantee compensation for losses arising from cancellations.
7. Amendments
MiJOBmatch reserves the right to update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Updated
Versions will be posted on our website and app, with the effective date clearly stated.
