MiJOBmatch – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to MiJOBmatch—a platform designed to connect Job Providers with Job Seekers and skilled
service providers. By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, or services, you agree to
be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our
platform.
1. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to MiJOBmatch’s website, mobile app, and related services.
- "Job Provider" refers to any individual, company, or organisation posting a job, task, or service
request.
- "Job Seeker" refers to any individual or entity applying for jobs or offering services via the
platform.
- "User" refers to any person using the platform, including job providers and job seekers.
2. Eligibility
- Users must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent/guardian.
- Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Users must comply with all applicable laws of Zimbabwe when using the platform.
3. Account Registration
- Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login details.
- Accounts are non-transferable and may not be shared without MiJOBmatch’s written consent.
- MiJOBmatch reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these terms.
4. Use of the Platform
Users agree to:
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes.
- Not post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profiles.
- Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour towards other users.
- Not upload harmful code, spam, or any content that may damage the platform or its users.
5. Job Listings and Applications
- Job Providers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of job postings.
- Job Seekers are responsible for ensuring their skills and qualifications match the roles they apply
for.
- MiJOBmatch does not guarantee job placements or the quality of services provided.
6. Fees and Payments
- Certain services may require payment, such as premium listings or subscription plans.
- All fees are payable in Zimbabwean dollars (ZWL) or other accepted currencies.
- Our Refund Policy applies to all transactions.
- Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers (e.g., PayNow, EcoCash, PayPal).
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy.
- Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.
8. Content Ownership
- Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant MiJOBmatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free
licence to use, display, and promote such content for platform purposes.
- Users must ensure they have the rights to any content they post.
9. Privacy
- User data is collected, processed, and stored according to our Privacy Policy.
- MiJOBmatch takes reasonable steps to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute
security.
10. Limitation of Liability
- MiJOBmatch is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from:
- Job arrangements made outside the platform.
- Misrepresentation by Users.
- Technical issues, service interruptions, or data loss.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, MiJOBmatch’s liability is limited to the total amount paid by
the User in the 3 months prior to the claim.
11. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless MiJOBmatch, its owners, directors, employees, and
partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the platform.
12. Termination
- MiJOBmatch may suspend or terminate accounts without notice for:
- Breach of these Terms.
- Misuse of the platform.
- Illegal or harmful activity.
- Users may close their accounts at any time by contacting admin@mijobmatch.com.
13. Changes to These Terms
MiJOBmatch reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform
After updates constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of
Zimbabwe. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Zimbabwean courts.
